The run from the lift to here was not pretty, but it was worth it

Not a bad day for skiing at Lake Louise.

Found some great snow!

We had a great day, unfortunately the other group out there did not. They were skiing on another slope and one of their members was caught in an avalanche. Thankfully he was uninjured and his friends were able to dig him out quickly. Even on days with low avalanche risk it's important to have the proper equipment and travel smart.
Prior to this run the day had been cloudy and grey, it was as if the sun was watching and followed us to this run. In my mind, there is no better day than enjoying the outdoors with those you care about. I have an especially soft spot for bluebird ski days with my mom. I can only hope that this photo accurately depicts the child-like joy I felt in this moment.
The traverse out may be long, but man was it worth it
Another Panorama classic
Hard to go wrong with the Sun Bowl at Panorama
The weather at Kimberly on this day was all over the map. One minute would be foggy, the next blue skies, and the next raining big, fluffy snow flakes. All in all a pretty epic day.
